Rewires, consumer units, sockets and the light that has never worked. Tested, labelled, written up, and explained in words that make sense.

What we do
Faults
Something has tripped, gone dead or started buzzing. Traced and fixed rather than guessed at.
Consumer units and fuse boards
Replaced and tested, with proper protection on every circuit.
Rewires
Whole houses and flats, planned around you living there where possible.
Extra circuits
A dedicated supply for an oven, a hob, a boiler or a workshop.
Sockets and switches
More of them, in the right places, including outside.
Lighting
Downlights, spots, dimmers and outside lights, laid out before anything is cut.
Earthing and bonding
The part nobody sees and everything depends on, brought up to standard.
Kitchens and bathrooms
Circuits, appliances and lighting done in the right order with the fitters.
Outdoor power
Garden lighting, sheds, gates and car chargers, run and protected properly.
Data and intercom
Network cabling, aerials and door entry, put in while the walls are open.
Inspections
A written report on the state of an installation, for landlords, buyers and anybody who has just moved in.
Smoke alarms
Fitted, linked, and tested where they will actually be heard.
Worth knowing
Tested and written upPriced before we startSmall jobs tooLeft tidy
- 01You get the readings and the paperwork for the work, not a verbal assurance.
- 02The rate for small jobs, a quote for big ones, and no drift in between.
- 03A socket, a light, a fan — the ones other firms cannot be bothered with.
- 04Holes made good, dust cleared, the board labelled, and nothing live left uncovered for a second.
How we work
Electrics are not something to guess at, so every job follows the same steps.
- Step 1
Tell us the problem
A breaker that keeps tripping, a new socket, a whole rewire.
- Step 2
We look first
And tell you what it needs, and what it costs, before starting.
- Step 3
Safe work
Power off at the board, the circuit proved dead, and the job done properly.
- Step 4
Tested and labelled
Every circuit we touch is tested before we pack up, and the board is left readable.
Work we have done
Boards, rewires and the tidy ends of jobs you would never otherwise see.

Something has tripped and will not reset. What now?
Unplug everything on that circuit, then try again. If it still trips, leave it off and ring us — it is telling you something.
How much is a call-out?
You are told the rate before we come, and small jobs are priced at the door before anything starts.
Do I need a whole rewire?
Rarely. We will tell you honestly whether it is the board, one circuit, or genuinely the lot.
My board has no RCD. Does that matter?
It matters. We will explain what it protects against and what it costs to put right, and leave the decision with you.
Do you give certificates?
You get the test results and paperwork for whatever we do, as the work requires.
Can you come today?
Often, for anything unsafe. Ring early and we will tell you where you stand.
When we work
Anything unsafe is dealt with the same day where we can.
- Monday to Friday
- 8am – 6pm
- Saturday
- by arrangement
Where we cover
The area is below. Just outside it? Ring and ask.
1 Example Street, Anytown
Something sparking or dead?
Turn it off at the board and ring us. We will tell you what is safe to use until we get there.
