A proper cut in half an hour, hot towel and all. Walk in and wait, or book a time and do not.
What we do
Cut
Clippers, scissors or both, finished the way you like it.
Skin fade and taper
Blended slowly from the skin up, checked twice in the mirror.
Cut and beard
The full job: hair, beard shaped, hot towel and a tidy neck.
Beard trim
Shaped and lined, or taken right back — your call.
Cut-throat shave
Hot towel, proper lather, a straight razor and cold towel after.
Line-up
Edges and the hairline sharpened, on its own or with a cut.
Head shave
Clippered to the skin or shaved with a razor, whichever you prefer.
Children
Patient cuts for boys who would rather be anywhere else.
Grey blending
Softened rather than dyed, for people who want to keep some of it.
Ears and nose
Tidied with wax or trimmed, without anybody having to ask twice.
Tidy-ups
A quick neck and edges between proper cuts.
Work from the chair
Cuts done here, with the owners' permission.

The shopAn old trade, done well
Clippers, scissors, a razor and a mirror. What makes a barber worth going back to is that the cut is the same every time, and that somebody tells you honestly when it is time to try something else.
There is football on, there is always a conversation, and nobody is rushed out of the chair.

Walk in or book ahead; either way it goes like this.
- Step 1
Take a seat
Walk-ins wait their turn, bookings go straight to the chair.
- Step 2
Say what you want
A grade, a photo, or just how short — and we tell you if it will work with your hair.
- Step 3
The cut
Faded, tapered or scissor cut, finished with a line-up and a hot towel on the neck.
- Step 4
Book the next one
If you want to keep it sharp, we suggest when.
Before you come in
Walk in or book
Quiet in the mornings, busy after four. Book if you are on a schedule.
Half an hour
Long enough to do it properly, short enough to fit in a lunch break.
The same barber
Ask for whoever cut it last time and it will look the same again.
Children welcome
Quiet mornings suit them best, and nobody minds a wriggler.
