The company

Most of what makes building work painful is not the work — it is not knowing what is happening, what it will cost, or when anybody is coming back. We fix that part first.
We take on what we can do properly with the people we have, which is why we sometimes say no. It is also why the jobs we take finish.
How a job runs
From the first visit to the day we hand back the keys, you know what is happening and what comes next.
- 01
Site visit
We come and look, measure, and listen to what you want at the end of it.
- 02
Written quote
A price broken down by stage, with materials, labour, skips and what is not included.
- 03
Start date
Booked, with the order of trades and who will be on site each week.
- 04
First fix
The work that disappears behind the walls: structure, pipework, cabling, insulation.
- 05
Second fix and finishing
Plaster, screed, tiling, doors, sockets, paint — the part you can see.
- 06
Handover
We walk it with you, write the snag list, and put right everything on it.
What we stand by
A written quote
Itemised by stage, so you can see what each part costs and take anything out.
A start date we keep
And a call the moment anything threatens it.
One person to ring
The same name from the quote to the last snag on the list.
Cleared up daily
Dust sheets down, tools away, and the site swept before we leave.
What happens after you get in touch
We come and look, ask what you actually want at the end of it, and go away and price it. You get an itemised quote with what is included and what is not.
If you accept, we agree a start date and a payment schedule tied to stages. From then on there is one person you ring, and you will hear from us before you have to chase.
