Cut and finish
Washed, cut and blow-dried, with the consultation before any of it.
Dry cut
For a tidy-up between appointments, when nothing else is needed.
Colour
Roots, full colour and the slow work of getting back to your own.
Highlights and balayage
Foils, babylights and hand-painted lightening, done over sessions where it needs to be.
Toning and glossing
The step that takes the brass out and puts the shine back.
Treatments
Bond-building and deep conditioning for hair that has been through colour, sun or a bad year.
Smoothing treatments
For hair that fights the brush every morning, with honest talk about how long it lasts.
Men's cuts
Clippers or scissors, tidy or grown out, in and out in half an hour.
Children
A first haircut that is not frightening, and a lollipop after.
Occasion hair
Blow-dries and hair up for a wedding, an interview or a Friday night, with a trial run before the day.
Fringe trims
Free between appointments, because a fringe is not a haircut.

With the stylist explaining as they go.

The salonA room where you can say what you actually want
Most people arrive with a photograph and a worry. The photograph is useful; the worry is more useful, because it tells us what not to do.
We cut for how you will wear it the rest of the month, not for how it looks for the twenty minutes after you leave.

Photo: Ron Lach / PexelsQuestions people ask
- How much does it cost?
- You are told at the chair, before anything begins, and again if the colour turns out to need more than we thought.
- How long will it take?
- A cut is about an hour. Colour depends on what we are doing — we will tell you when you book so you can plan the day.
- Can I bring a photograph?
- Please do. We will tell you honestly what your hair will do with it, and what it will take to keep.
- Do I need a test before colour?
- For some colours, yes. Book it a couple of days before and it takes five minutes.
- Can you fix a colour done somewhere else?
- Usually, and sometimes over more than one visit. Come in and let us look before you buy anything from a box.
- What if I do not like it?
- Tell us before you leave. We would rather fix it there than have you go home unhappy.
