Made to fit the wall you actually have
Fitted wardrobes, shelves, kitchens, doors and stairs, measured on site and made to suit the room — including the corners that are nowhere near square.

Made properly
- 01
Measured here, not guessed
Every piece is drawn from the room itself, corners and all.
- 02
A drawing first
You see what you are getting, and what it costs, before anything is cut.
- 03
Real materials
Solid timber, veneered board or MDF for painting — chosen for the job and told to you by name.
- 04
Fitted properly
Scribed to the wall, packed level, and finished so it looks built in.
What we make
- 01Fitted wardrobesFloor to ceiling, into alcoves and under slopes, with the inside laid out for what you own.
- 02Alcove shelving and cupboardsThe pair either side of a chimney breast, made to match each other and the room.
- 03KitchensUnits, doors and the awkward last cupboard nobody else would make.
- 04WorktopsSolid timber, laminate or board, templated on site and cut around what is already there.
- 05DoorsHung, adjusted, and made to measure where the frame is no longer a rectangle.
- 06Stairs and handrailsRepairs, replacements and the treads that have creaked for years.
- 07FloorsLaid, sanded and finished, including boards matched into an old floor.
- 08Skirting and architraveMatched to what is there, so new work does not announce itself.
- 09Desks and shelvingBuilt in where a room has to work as an office as well.
- 10RepairsWindows, frames, gates and the jobs too small for anybody else.

The workshopWork that fits because it was made for the place
Old houses move. Walls lean, floors slope and nothing is the size the tape says it should be — which is why furniture bought in a box leaves gaps and a made piece does not.
We make in the workshop and fit on site, so the dust stays with us and the disruption to you is a day or two rather than a fortnight.
Questions people ask
How long does a fitted job take?
Measuring takes an hour, making takes a couple of weeks in the workshop, and fitting is usually a day or two in your house.
What does it cost compared to flat-pack?
More than a box and less than you think. You get the drawing and an itemised quote, so you can see where the money goes.
Solid wood or board?
Depends on the piece and whether it is being painted. We will tell you which we would use and why, rather than selling you the dearer one by habit.
Can you match existing woodwork?
Usually. Send a photograph of what is there and we will tell you honestly.
Do you paint it as well?
We can supply it primed or finished. Say which when you order.
Do you make small things?
Yes — a shelf, a gate, a repair. Small jobs are welcome.
Awkward corner to fill?
Send a photograph and the measurements. We will tell you what could go there.
