About us
Photo: Andrea De Santis / PexelsThe practiceLooking after eyes, not shifting frames
A sight test is a health check that happens to end in glasses. We measure the prescription, look at the back of the eye, compare it with last time, and tell you what we see.
When you do need glasses, we take the time to get them right: the lens for the distance you actually work at, the coating that earns its place, and a frame that suits your face rather than the window display.
What happens at a test
We ask about your eyes and your general health, then measure the prescription and check how the eyes work together. We look at the back of the eye and keep the photographs, so next time we can compare rather than guess.
You leave with your prescription, whether or not you buy anything. Bring your current glasses and a rough idea of what you use them for — the distance you sit from a screen matters more than most people expect.
