The pharmacy
The pharmacyThe first place to ask, and often the last you need
A great deal of what worries people is straightforward: a rash that needs a cream, a cough that needs time, a medicine that does not agree with another one. We can tell you which it is.
When it is not straightforward, we say so and tell you who to see. That is the useful half of the job.

Quicker when it reaches us ahead.
- Step 1
The prescription reaches us
Sent electronically by your doctor, or brought in by you.
- Step 2
We dispense it
And check it against everything else you take, for anything that clashes.
- Step 3
Collect it
Ask for it by name at the counter.
- Step 4
Questions answered
How to take it, when, with food or without, and what to watch for.
What we can do here
No appointment
Come in and ask. Most questions are answered at the counter in a minute.
Ordered in
If we do not have it, we usually have it the next working day.
A quiet word
There is a private room for anything you would rather not say at the counter.
Checked against the rest
We look at what you already take before we hand anything over.
Ordering a repeat prescription
Send us the details or bring the slip in, and allow two working days. We will message you when it is ready.
If you are running low on something you take every day, tell us early: it is easier to order ahead than to find a substitute on a Friday evening.
