An hour where nothing is asked of you
Massage that works on what is actually tight, in a warm quiet room. Come for the shoulder that has seized up, or for the hour itself.
- We ask first
- The pressure is yours
- Warm and quiet
Before you arrive
- We ask first
- The pressure is yours
- Warm and quiet
- Time to come round
What we do
Back, neck and shoulders
Half an hour on the part that holds everything.
Full body massage
An hour or ninety minutes, with the pressure set by you.
Deep tissue
Slower and firmer, for muscle that has been tight for months.
Sports massage
Before or after training, and for the niggle that keeps coming back.
Relaxing and aromatherapy
Lighter work, warm oil, and nothing to think about.
Hot stones
Heat that gets into the muscle before the hands do.
Lymphatic drainage
Slow, light work for legs that feel heavy at the end of the day.
Firming massage
Firm work on hips and legs over a course — we will tell you plainly what it does and does not do.
Foot reflexology
For people who stand all day, and for swelling in summer.
Pregnancy massage
Side-lying and supported, after the first three months.
Sauna, steam room and hot tub
On their own as a day pass, or before a treatment to loosen everything first.
For two
The same treatment side by side, in one room, and gift vouchers for the person who will never book it for themselves.
The rooms
Where treatments happen, the wet area, and where you sit afterwards with a glass of water.

Most people arrive with a neck and shoulders that have been at a desk for a decade, or a back that has been lifting. Some arrive with nothing wrong at all, which is just as good a reason.
We work with hands and time rather than gadgets, and we tell you what we found rather than selling you a course of ten.
Questions people ask
Which treatment should I book?
If something hurts, book the back, neck and shoulders. If nothing does, book the hour. We will adjust once we see you.
How much do I take off?
Only what you are comfortable with. You are covered by a towel throughout, and we work around whatever stays on.
What should I bring?
Nothing. Robes, slippers and towels are here. Come a quarter of an hour early if you want the sauna first.
Will it hurt?
Firm should feel good. Sharp or breath-holding is too much — say so, and we change it immediately.
Will I be sore afterwards?
Sometimes for a day, like after exercise. Drink water and move gently.
Can I come while pregnant?
After the first three months, yes, with proper support. Tell us when you book, and skip the sauna.
