What to expect
Seen today
Ring in the morning if something is wrong. We keep slots back for exactly that.
The price first
You are told what it will cost before we start, and told again if that changes.
Your decision
We explain the options, including doing nothing, and you choose.
Calm handling
Unhurried, on the floor if that suits them better, with treats in the drawer.
A visit to us
From the waiting room to going home.
- Step 1
Book or call
Tell us what is wrong, and we tell you how soon to come.
- Step 2
The examination
A careful look, with you there, explained as we go.
- Step 3
Your options
What we recommend, what it costs, and the alternatives.
- Step 4
Going home
Medicines explained, and a call if you are worried later.
What we do
Photo: Tima Miroshnichenko / PexelsConsultations
Something is wrong, or something is not quite right and you cannot say why.
Photo: Tima Miroshnichenko / PexelsVaccinations and worming
The yearly boosters, the rabies vaccination and a worming schedule that fits their life.
Photo: juliane Monari / PexelsNeutering and spaying
Booked in advance, home the same day, with a call that evening to see how they are.
Dentistry
Scale, polish and extractions under anaesthetic, with photographs of what we found.
Surgery
Soft tissue and orthopaedic operations, with pain relief planned in from the start.
X-ray and ultrasound
Scans done here, so a limp or a swollen abdomen gets an answer the same visit.
Laboratory tests
Blood, urine and skin samples, with the results explained in words that mean something.
Older animals
Blood pressure, kidneys, joints and weight, watched over the years.
Microchipping, passports and certificates
The chip, the pet passport and the health certificate for travelling.
Grooming and nail clipping
Baths, clipping, and the ears and claws that get left too long.
Saying goodbye
When the time comes, gently, at your pace, here or at home.
The practice
The consulting rooms, the theatre, and the people who will look after them.

Questions people ask
My animal is unwell today. Can you see them?
Ring as early as you can. We keep appointments free each day for animals that cannot wait.
How much will it cost?
You get the price before we begin. For an operation, you get a written estimate covering the anaesthetic, the surgery and the aftercare.
Is the microchip compulsory?
For dogs, yes, and the rabies vaccination goes with it. We do both here and register the chip for you.
We are travelling abroad. What do we need?
A chip, a valid rabies vaccination and a pet passport, in that order and with time between them. Come to us before you book the trip, not after.
Can I stay with them?
In the consulting room, always. For an operation, you are with them until they are asleep if you wish.
What if something happens at night?
Ring the number below — it is answered, and you will be told where to go.
