Most of what we do is not selling: it is sizing, mending, restringing and cleaning the pieces people already own — including the ones that are only valuable to one family.
When somebody is buying for an occasion, the job is to listen first. The right piece is usually simpler than the one they came in asking for.

What we stand by
Told the price firstRepairs done hereTime to decideSized and fitted
- 01For a repair, before any work starts; for a piece, with nothing hidden in it.
- 02Most of them at our own bench, so your piece does not travel.
- 03Nothing is rushed, and nothing is pushed. Come twice if you want to.
- 04Rings sized while you wait where we can, chains shortened to sit right.
Bringing something in
Bring the whole piece, including any parts that have come away — a missing stone in an envelope is worth more than a description of it.
If you are buying for somebody else, bring a ring they already wear if you can. It is the simplest way to get the size right without asking them.
