Water where it should be, and nowhere else

What happens when you ring
Whether it is a burst pipe or a new bathroom, the order is the same.
- Step 01
You call
Tell us what is wrong. If it is urgent, we tell you what to turn off first.
- Step 02
We quote the rate
Before we come out, so there is no surprise at the door.
- Step 03
We find the cause
Not just the wet patch — the joint, the seal or the blockage that made it.
- Step 04
We fix or explain
Repaired on the day where we can, or the options set out plainly with prices.
- Step 05
We tidy up
Old parts taken away, everything run and tested, and the floor left dry.
What we do
- 01Leaks and bursts
- Found, stopped and repaired, including the ones behind a wall or under a floor.
- 02Boilers and water heaters
- Serviced, repaired and replaced, with the options explained before you commit.
- 03Blocked drains and waste
- Sinks, toilets and outside drains cleared, and the cause found rather than just poked.
- 04Bathrooms
- Whole rooms fitted, or one suite swapped, with tiling and making good.
- 05Taps, toilets and cisterns
- Dripping, running, blocked or simply old.
- 06Radiators and heating
- Cold ones bled and balanced, new ones fitted, systems flushed.
- 07Underfloor heating
- Laid, tested and connected, and diagnosed when a loop stops giving heat.
- 08Showers
- Pressure, pumps and the showers that have never been right.
- 09Pipework
- Repiping a flat or a run, in copper or plastic, with proper isolation valves so the next repair is easier.
- 10Water meters and limescale
- Meters fitted and moved, and hard water dealt with before it eats the boiler.
- 11Outside taps and drainage
- Water where you want it, and away from where you do not.
- 12Emergencies
- Ring, and we will talk you through what to turn off first.

Most plumbing is not complicated; the hard part for a customer is finding somebody who turns up and says what things cost. That is the business we are trying to run.
We will tell you when a repair is the sensible thing and when you are throwing money at something that needs replacing. You get the choice either way.
Questions people ask
Water is coming through the ceiling. What do I do?
Turn the water off at the stopcock and the electrics off in that room if it is near a light. Then ring us.
What does a call-out cost?
You are told the rate before we come, and the price of the work before we start. No surprises at the door.
Can you come today?
Often, for emergencies. Ring early and we will tell you honestly where you are in the day.
The boiler has stopped. Is it worth repairing?
Sometimes. We will tell you what the part costs, what the boiler is worth, and let you decide rather than deciding for you.
Do you fix somebody else's work?
Regularly. Send a photograph and we will tell you what it needs.
Do you take cards?
Yes, at the door or by transfer afterwards, whichever is easier.
When we work
Out-of-hours work is charged at a higher rate, and you are told before we come.
- Monday to Friday
- 8am – 6pm
- Saturday
- 9am – 2pm
