Our story

Travelling is tiring, and the things that fix that are small: a bed that is actually comfortable, hot water that stays hot, a room that is quiet at eleven at night, and somebody who can tell you where to eat.
That is what we concentrate on. The rest — a view, a good chair, coffee you would drink at home — we get right because the small things are the whole job.

Booking directly
Booking with us rather than through a site means we can actually help: hold rooms next to each other, move a check-in time, or put you somewhere quieter when the place is busy. It also costs us less, which is why the direct price is what it is.
If anything about your stay is unusual — an early flight, a difficult sleeper, a dog — say so when you book rather than at the desk.
