Rooms and stays

01Single, double and twin rooms

For a night, a working week or longer — and we will tell you which is which before you book.

02* Family rooms

Room for everybody, with cots and extra beds where they are needed.

03Bed and breakfast or half board

Said clearly on the room you are booking, so nothing appears on the bill at the end.

04Long stays

Weekly rates for people working away from home, with laundry by arrangement.

05Groups

Several rooms held together for a wedding, a walking group or a works trip.

06Meetings and small events

A room, a table, coffee and somewhere to plug in.

07Transfers

From the airport or the station, booked ahead so somebody is waiting.

08Early check-in and late check-out

Where the day allows it — just ask, and ask before you arrive if it matters.

09Luggage storage

Before check-in and after check-out, so your last day is not spent carrying bags.

Quiet rooms
Proper beds, blackout curtains, and windows that shut the street out.
Breakfast
Made in the morning, not left under a lamp. Told what time it runs.
Parking
Where to leave the car, said before you arrive rather than after.
No surprises at the desk
What is included, what the tax is and what happens if you cancel — all said before you book.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Both are listed on our booking page. If your train or flight is awkward, tell us and we will work around it.

Is there parking?

The arrangements are on our page, along with what to do if it is full.

Can we arrive late?

Yes, if you tell us when. Somebody will be expecting you.

Do you need our documents?

Yes — everybody staying has to be registered, so bring identification for each guest including children.

Is the tourist tax included?

It is shown separately, and we will tell you the amount before you book rather than at the desk.

What if we have to cancel?

The terms are on the booking page, in plain words, and we would rather you read them now than argue about them later.

Are pets allowed?

Ask when you book — some rooms are better for this than others.
