Rooms for a night or a week, with parking, an easy check-in and somebody on the desk who knows the area.
What you get
Quiet rooms
Proper beds, blackout curtains, and windows that shut the street out.
Breakfast
Made in the morning, not left under a lamp. Told what time it runs.
Parking
Where to leave the car, said before you arrive rather than after.
No surprises at the desk
What is included, what the tax is and what happens if you cancel — all said before you book.
The rooms
Photographs of the actual rooms, taken as they are rather than staged.

Travelling is tiring, and the things that fix that are small: a bed that is actually comfortable, hot water that stays hot, a room that is quiet at eleven at night, and somebody who can tell you where to eat.
That is what we concentrate on. The rest — a view, a good chair, coffee you would drink at home — we get right because the small things are the whole job.

Questions guests ask
What time is check-in and check-out?
Both are listed on our booking page. If your train or flight is awkward, tell us and we will work around it.
Is there parking?
The arrangements are on our page, along with what to do if it is full.
Can we arrive late?
Yes, if you tell us when. Somebody will be expecting you.
Do you need our documents?
Yes — everybody staying has to be registered, so bring identification for each guest including children.
Is the tourist tax included?
It is shown separately, and we will tell you the amount before you book rather than at the desk.
What if we have to cancel?
The terms are on the booking page, in plain words, and we would rather you read them now than argue about them later.
Are pets allowed?
Ask when you book — some rooms are better for this than others.
Booking for a group?
Tell us the dates and how many rooms and we will hold them together for you.
