Giving
A tenth of every month's profit, for those who cannot ask for help.
Every month, once the people who work here, the servers and the taxes have been paid, we set aside about 10% of what remains and give it away — to children who need protecting and feeding, and to animals who need someone to care for them. It is taken from our profit and never added to your price. This page is where we account for it: who received each gift, and what it made possible.
Why we give
We believe that what we have been given is meant to be shared, and that a business should be measured by more than what it keeps.
A child brought out of harm's way, a meal on a table that was empty, an animal no longer left to suffer — these matter more than anything we will ever build here. Giving a tenth is how we keep that in front of us.
How we choose where it goes
- We give to those who serve God by serving others: Christian churches and Christian organisations of long standing.
- Their work is with children — bringing them out of trafficking and abuse, and seeing that they are fed — or with animals in need of shelter and care.
- Each one is registered where it works, publishes its accounts, and has a record that bears looking into.
- We do not give to political causes, and never to any group connected with violence.
- Every gift goes directly to the charity itself, and we keep the receipt for each one.
Month by month
Our first month has not yet closed. As soon as there is a month's profit to give from, the first gift will be recorded here, together with what it made possible.
Every website built here has a share in this.
